Layin’ In The Sun,
Talkin’ ‘Bout The Things
They Woulda-Coulda-Shoulda Done…

According to the EWG, the President’s Cancer Panel issued a landmark report last month suggesting that public health officials “grossly underestimated” the extent of environmentally-induced cancer among the in 1.5 million Americans diagnosed with the disease annually. Of course no one’s surprised by this, but the EWG has compiled nine practical tips for consumers to reduce the risk of environmentally-induced cancer.
There’s nothing like mom’s good lookin’ home cookin’. No matter how relatively simple the food may be, the flavors are something we can’t duplicate at home. Made with love, and it shows. Pictured here, spicy southwestern style chili topped with avocado, salad with the best local dressing I’ve tasted, and garlic bread.
I love these Parisian style urban oasis photos by The Burch Jerks.
“Life can be wildly tragic at times, and I’ve had my share. But whatever happens to you, you have to keep a slightly comic attitude. In the final analysis, you have got to not forget to laugh.” - Katharine Hepburn

This past Saturday was the warmest day of the year in Seattle (mid-70s), and the sun (shockingly) stayed with us all day. You better believe we took advantage of this, so we spent our day at Gas Works Park. The remnant of the coal gasification plant make the park unique, and the Seattle skyline and water views from this park are beautiful.
Over-the-top, gooey, mooshy, fun, sweet, creative proposal. I bet she felt pretty damn special.
Romance alert in Madison Square Park! Don’t miss the t-shirts at 2:45. The groom is a filmmaker and circus school graduate, Metro Station’s ‘Shake It’ is their song. They run off camera to a horse drawn carriage ride… watch and be wooed.
Another event reminder for this weekend: Check out craft, art, design, food, and workshops at the 6th Annual Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn, June 5th & 6th, 11 am - 7 pm in McCarren Park. Free to attend! The Etsy folks will be there, and take advantage of the free-to-use photobooth courtesy of Magnolia Photo Booth. Sounds like good times!
